Ele analisou os 28 principais quadros de cada artista e selcionou as 5 cores mais usadas, e assim criou os gráficos. Mais uma prova da genialidade desses artistas, que sabiam combinar cores como ninguém.
A brilliant study by English graphic artist Arthur Buxton, who has studied the paintings of four masters of the art (Van Gogh, Gauguin, Matisse and Monet) and created graphs that represent the proportional relationships between the colors used in each painting. He reviewed the 28 major paintings from each artist and selected the 5 most popular shades, and thus created the pie graphs. One more proof how these artist were geniuses when it came to combining colors.
